Our annual and much-anticipated field trip to 🐬Shinagawa Aquarium🪸 was a wonderful success.
From the moment we arrived, the children were filled with excitement. After lining up neatly, they each received their very own “Aquarium Book” from the teachers — and their exploration began. The mission was simple but meaningful: find the sea creatures featured in the book, observe them carefully, and place a sticker once discovered. “I found it!” “Over here!” Voices filled with excitement echoed through the aquarium as the children actively searched, observed, and discussed in English. Through this hands-on activity, they strengthened their focus, curiosity, and confidence while creating their very own original book. After lunch, we enjoyed active play at the nearby park, followed by a spectacular dolphin show back at the aquarium — the perfect ending to a rich and memorable day. It wasn’t just a visit. It was an experience. At our preschool, children don’t simply look — they explore, think, discover, and grow.

January’s Pink School theme was “Our Solar System” 🚀
“How many planets are there?”
“Which planet is the biggest?”
“How can we travel to space?”
Our learning began with the children’s natural curiosity. Through lively discussions conducted in English, they explored big questions, shared ideas, and built new vocabulary in a meaningful and engaging way. As their excitement grew, one idea stood out: “Let’s build our own rockets and go to space!” Each child designed an original rocket on a worksheet, carefully planning colors, shapes, and special features. With imagination and creativity, they brought their one-of-a-kind rockets to life. To conclude our exploration, we held a Rocket Race using straws and strings. “Three, two, one… blast off!” In that moment, our classroom transformed into a space station filled with energy, teamwork, and joyful cheers ✨
At our international preschool, children don’t just learn facts — they think, discuss, create, and discover in English. This month was filled with powerful moments where “I wonder…” became “I did it!” — nurturing confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning.

The children excitedly took part in a fun listening quiz, trying to guess which instrument matched each sound. Their bright smiles and confident “I know this one!” moments filled the room with energy. After the quiz, everyone had the chance to become a conductor for a day. With Beethoven’s music playing, the children carefully held their batons—some a little nervous at first—yet by the end, they were leading the music with confidence and joy. Watching them express themselves so freely was truly inspiring. It was a wonderful time where the children naturally developed focus, creativity, and a love for music through play.

We celebrated Thanksgiving this year with our annual Potluck Party, one of the most beloved traditions at our preschool.Families brought their favorite homemade dishes, creating a colorful buffet that everyone—children, parents, and staff—enjoyed together.
A wonderful variety of international foods filled the tables, offering a unique “taste of the world” right here at school. Children were excited to try new flavors, while adults and teachers shared smiles and warm conversations throughout the day. This event is a special opportunity for families to connect, experience different cultures through food, and feel the strong sense of community that we value so much at our preschool.
We look forward to welcoming families again next year for another joyful and delicious celebration😊

You will observe your child’s participation in the lesson, the class atmosphere created by the teacher and other students, and of course genuine English communication.
