Depending on the class number, separation anxiety for most children is usually resolved naturally in about 6 weeks. It’s not an easy process for both parents and children, but it’s a very important process, so we thank parents for their cooperation. Please bring your child to class each morning, then leave in a timely manner. After that, experienced instructors will take care of everything.

Of course it’s okay. Please be assured that the Japanese school manager in each class will always report the details of the child’s day to parents in Japanese, and he/she will respond in Japanese to any consultation from parents.

Language acquisition is a complex process. All children will make progress in various ways and at various speeds. With attendance at Blue Class (1.5 to 3 years old) at three or more times a week, it’s common for children to use words and short sentences after a few months. 4 words) three or more times a week, half a year to 10 months. “Catch-ball conversations” typically begin to emerge after joining Pink Class (4 to 6 years old).

Yes. We accept requests for extended time in increments of 15 minutes / 540 yen between 14:45~18:30 except during school events. It is also possible to set an extended schedule on a designated weekly or monthly basis. We also accept same-day requests. Please feel free to consult with school staff.

Yes. We accept students for early-morning daycare from 8:00am to 9:45am except during school events. You can specify your required time in increments of 15 minutes / 540 yen. Please apply by the previous day.

Yes, however only in the Blue Class (1.5 to 3 years old). In the afternoon, after a free-play time, there is a naptime for about 1 hour. Children who attend for a Full Day (10:00~17:00) have a 90~120 minute nap from 15:00.

Yes. At our school, we assist with a fully-fledged toilet training in consultation with parents. Please rest assured.

Events in which parents can attend are held once every two months on average. In regular classes, parents can visit the Pink Class (4 to 6 years old) twice a year during the Open School Week. For Blue Class (1.5 to 3 years old) Open School Week is once a year.

Yes, from around 11am to before noon every day at nearby Koizumi Park. With an emphasis on safety, the children in Blue Class experience group-play (ball activities, sandbox activities, hula hoop hopscotch, nature observation, activities involving water in summer etc.) and individual free play, the content of which is left up to the ideas and methods of each child. One teacher supports the play of 3~4 children, speaking with them in English.
In Pink Class outdoor exercise focuses on whole-body movement control, taking children’s physical development stage into consideration. Before individual free-play time, class activities involve running, jumping, ball-play (throwing, catching, dribbling, kicking) Teachers supervise free-play time, and support individual wishes. Currently soccer, jump-rope and basketball are popular.

Yes. Pink Class students (3~6 years old) who wish to take an English examination are given examination content exercises for speaking, reading and writing during class time. (The Pink Class curriculum itself however is not specialized for English examinations). Of those Pink Class students who took Eiken 5th and 4th grades since 2013, all passed. Some of our afternoon students who attend regular Japanese kindergarten passed 3rd grade in February of their final year. Other Pink Class graduates passed 2nd grade in the first year of elementary school.

Yes. The pre-school annual program incorporates a “work experience” event through the “EAP Program” conducted only in English at Kidzania, Tokyo. Yes. Our school year is the same as that of public schools, from April to March. During this time students can make up missed lessons due to illness, health checkups, school exams, school interviews etc.

Yes. You can make a reservation up to two months before the month you wish to have a break, and you can have a break for up to six months. 50% of the monthly fee will be charged during the break. Absences associated with a birth are not charged.
